Homo Habilus, “Handy Man”

Homo Habilus was an early Homind, probably existing 3 to 1.5 million years ago.  He never left Africa.  Brain size was larger than Australopithecines but smaller than Home Erectus.  The arms were longer and legs shorter than Erectus.   Hand axes have been found, hence the name “handy man”.
