Every year, distant storms send a river out on to the Kalahari. There is no lake or ocean for this river to drain into. Millions of tons of water just pour out into the desert, breaking up in to a maze of waterways.
The desert awakens and Buffalo, Elephant, Hippo, Lechwe, Giraffe come from miles away.
