Dawn in Tarangire

The soil in this park has a red coloration.  In the dry season the only available water is the Tarangire river and Elephants and Giraffes could be seen here.

The wide variety of herbivores and predators I saw in Amboseli and Serengeti were not evident.

Animals that ventured outside the park boundaries were shot at so they were not very approachable.
