You know this is the Serengeti; grass forever, scattered acacia trees, old volcanos on the horizon and granite intrusions, called Kopjes. The Serengeti plains of Tanzania and Kenya support vast numbers of herbivores and their predators. Dormant volcanos and granite intrusions, now exposed by millions of years of erosion dot the landscape.
